Welcome to Lattice
PM superpowers, out of the box.

Lattice is an AI-powered toolkit for product managers. It handles research, collaborative drafting, annotation, and expert review so you can focus on making decisions and shipping great products.

Get up and running in minutes. Sign up and create your first project.

Create your Lattice account at withlattice.com/signup. All you need is a name, email, and password.

Once signed in, create a new project. The onboarding wizard walks you through naming your project, describing your goals, and uploading any existing context. You're ready to go in under a minute.

Give Lattice the background it needs to write a great PRD. Upload your own files or add website URLs to bring in relevant context before drafting begins.

Providing context for your PRD.
  • Upload files: Add customer interviews, internal documents, prior specs, or any file that informs your product decisions
  • Add URLs: Pull in competitor pages, industry reports, blog posts, or documentation from the web
  • Better input, better output: The more relevant context Lattice has, the stronger your research and drafts will be

Every good PRD starts with research. Lattice helps you gather competitive landscape, market context, and prior art before a single line is written.

Conducting research with Lattice.
  • Choose research topics: Pick areas for competitive analysis, market context, and prior art to ground your PRD
  • Web research: Get information from the web reviewed and analyzed for your PRD

Lattice turns your research and direction into a structured first draft. A guided conversation walks you through the key sections (problem statement, user stories, requirements, and success metrics) so nothing gets missed.

Drafting a PRD with Lattice.
  • Guided structure: Lattice prompts you through each section using proven frameworks
  • Interactive refinement: Go back and forth to develop ideas, add detail, or change direction
  • Pick up where you left off: Continue drafting across sessions without losing context

You bring the product knowledge. Lattice handles the structure, formatting, and heavy lifting of getting it all on the page.

Annotations let you highlight any section of your PRD and request targeted feedback. Instead of reworking an entire document, you point Lattice at exactly what needs attention.

Using annotations to refine your PRD.
  • Select any text: highlight a section in your document to see the annotate button
  • Describe what you need: tighten the language, add specificity, challenge an assumption
  • Get targeted feedback: Lattice responds with suggestions scoped to your selection

Annotations keep your refinement focused and efficient. You stay in control of the document while Lattice helps you strengthen it section by section.

Before you share your PRD, Lattice reviews it from the perspective of the people who will challenge it. Each reviewer persona brings a different lens to your spec.

Running expert reviews on your PRD.
  • Choose your reviewers: Select from personas like engineering lead, product leader, designer, and more
  • Get specific, actionable feedback: Each reviewer evaluates your PRD through their area of expertise
  • Address feedback before it's public: Fix gaps, ambiguities, and blind spots while the document is still yours

The goal is simple: your PRD is stronger before anyone else reads it.

When your PRD is ready, publish it directly from Lattice to the tools your team already uses.

Publishing your PRD from Lattice.
  • Google Docs: Connect your Google account via OAuth and publish directly from the file panel. Lattice uses the drive.file permission, so it can only access documents it creates — nothing else in your Google Drive
  • One-click publishing: Your PRD is converted and pushed to Google Docs, ready to share with your team
  • Coming soon: Microsoft Word and Confluence publishing

Lattice helps you refine your backlog before your next sprint planning meeting. Define a customizable workflow, connect Jira, select the stories that need attention, and let AI produce suggestions for each one. Review the suggestions and apply them directly to Jira.

Start by setting up the refinement steps that matter to your team. Each step tells Lattice what to do with the stories you select. Common steps include:

  • Clean up title: Make ticket titles clear and consistent
  • Complete the description: Fill in missing context and acceptance criteria
  • Create child work items: Break epics and large stories into smaller, actionable tasks
  • Your own custom steps: Add any step your process needs — Lattice adapts to your workflow

You can add, remove, or reorder steps to match your team's process.

Defining your refinement workflow.

Connect your Jira account through OAuth. Once connected, Lattice pulls in your epics and their child stories so you can browse your backlog hierarchy.

Connecting your Jira account.

Browse your epics, expand them to see child stories, and select the ones that need refinement. Pick individual stories or select multiple at once.

Selecting stories for refinement.

Click "Refine" and Lattice analyzes each selected story against your workflow steps. For every step, you get a specific suggestion — what to change and why. Review each suggestion before anything is applied.

Reviewing refinement suggestions.

When you're satisfied with the suggestions, click "Apply." Lattice uses an AI agent with Jira tools to execute the changes directly in your Jira instance. You stay in control — nothing changes until you approve it.

Applying suggestions to Jira.

Lattice works in two modes: Browser Mode (the default, cloud-hosted experience) and Local Mode, which activates when the Lattice Agent is installed on your machine. Local Mode routes AI calls through your laptop, lets you use your own LLM credentials, and gives Lattice access to corporate tools behind your VPN.

  1. Question: How quickly can I get started?

Minutes. Sign up, create a project, and you're researching your first topic right away.

  2. Question: Will this actually save me time or is it another tool to learn?

Lattice handles the parts of PRD writing that slow you down: research gathering, first-draft structure, and pre-share reviews. You spend your time on decisions, not process.

  3. Question: What tools does Lattice connect to?

Integrations with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), BigQuery, and GitHub are coming soon.

  4. Question: Does the AI replace my judgment?

No. Lattice drafts and researches, but you make every decision. The AI accelerates the process. You own the product.

  5. Question: Who builds Lattice?

Lattice is built by product managers, for product managers. The community proposes, discusses, and votes on the features that get built. Read more about our mission.

  6. Question: Where do profits go?

100% of profits fund education for children and young adults in India. Not a percentage — everything. Learn more.

  7. Question: How does the community influence the product?

Through the feature request forum, users propose ideas, discuss them, and vote on what gets built next. The community decides how Lattice evolves. Read more.

  8. Question: How is Lattice transparent about finances?

Lattice publishes monthly revenue and profit numbers in a public Google Sheet. Community feature voting provides full visibility into product direction. See our mission page.

  9. Question: How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your cancellation page. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
